Wilburn Penny will have bypass surgery Wednesday at Baylor.  We need to continue to pray for both Wilburn and Letra as they continue to deal with health problems.

Prayer Update

Betty Murphy is out of ICU and doing better.  She has been up some.  Wayne is also feeling a little better.  He is scheduled to have chemo on Thursday depending on his palettes.  They are not sure when Betty will be able to have the injections for her back.  Please continue to remember them in prayer.

Cathie Pool asked that we pray for their friend, Jay Williams. He is having another surgery on his knee that was injured in the wreck several months ago.

 

Please pray for the Mike Barnett family. Mike (age 56) passed away Saturday night. He is married to Charlotte Barnett, Jerry Crabtree's niece.

Sonya Tinsley sent the following request:

As many of you know, we have a new baby in our home. He has many medical issues, the most pressing at this time is a heart condition called tricuspid atresia.

The shunt placed around 2 weeks of age is not in very good condition and he is living with a very minimal blood supply.

We will be taking little Aiden to Cook Children's in Ft. Worth for a cardiac catheterization on 2/10. He will remain in ICU until 2/14 or 2/15 at which point he will go to surgery for the phase II surgery. Aiden apparently has a history of complications after procedures and will remain in ICU for an undetermined amount of time at this time.

The doctors have stressed that the likelyhood of complications or even death are great.

We know that we serve a great and mighty God and He is able to do anything. Please pray for a quick recovery with no complications for this little guy. He has been through so much already in his short little life.

Aiden's mom is also expecting a baby anytime. Mom has admitted to using cocaine within the last 2 weeks. We have been asked that we take this baby in as well once it is born so that Aiden and his sibling can remain together. Please pray for this baby as there is a likelyhood of many birth defects (matching Aidens) in addition to withdrawals and complications from drugs.

Pam Carter asked that we pray for Charles Marrs. His daughter, Karen Hanks, works for the Carter's. Charles isn't expected to live much longer. Please pray for the family.

 

Pam also asked that we pray for Myrtle Morgan. Myrtle is the mother of their friend Thelma Morgan. Myrtle is having part of her colon removed.

Prayer Update

Bryan Baier is out of surgery. A large tumor was removed. It will take about 2 weeks to get the pathology reports back to determine if it is malignant or benign. Please pray for Bryan and Melanie as they wait for the results and as Bryan begins his recovery process.

Earl Brown is having knee surgery in the morning.  Please pray for him and Doris and that all goes well.

Chad Reagan, Becky Endsley's nephew, had surgery sometime in the night due to infection in his blood and bones.  He had 3 large sores on his body and as of this morning is not doing well.  Please keep him in your prayers.  Becky also took a flight out last night to New Mexico to be with them.  Pray for her as well as she is gone and for Andy and Cameron...they stayed here.

Please continue to pray for the Danny Caldwell family.  Krista had a doctor appointment today and all is well.  It looks like their Baby Girl might come before the due date.  Danny is taking more German classes and is again involved in outreach with the American football league.  Nathan & Micah are busy with school every day.  Micah is still struggling to get 100% healthy.  Their church plant is going well and they have some exciting things going in the works to help with growth.

Cathie Pool asked that we pray for Floyd's friend and co-worker, Tommy McConnell. Tommy is having prostate removal surgery (cancer) this morning. Please lift him and his family up in prayer.

Becky Ringler asked that we pray for her 29 year old nephew, Chad Reagan. Chad has been paralyzed for 12 years and has developed a bed sore which has become infected.  The infection has spread to his bone and blood.  He will have surgery this afternoon.  Please lift him up in prayer.

Wayne Murphy had chemo last Thursday and he is not feeling well at all.  Betty continues to have problems with her back.  Please continue to remember them in your prayers.

Congratulations to David and Brandi Westmoreland on the birth of their son, Samuel David. He was born today at 5:42 p.m. and weighed 7 lb 15-1/2 oz and was 19" long.
